The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults, OCIA, (RCIA) is a process by which we prepare adults or high school age to receive the Sacraments of Initiation and become full-fledged community members. This process includes a time of learning, discernment, and a gradual inclusion into the sacramental life of the community. There are several steps to prepare for Baptism, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, and the OCIA process guides those seeking entrance into the Church through these steps.
